Molasses Cookies (made by my 4 year old!)

These cookies were so yummy and so easy that my 4 year old was the one to make them! Check it out:

Molasses Cookies
1 1/2 cup shortening
2 cup sugar
1/2 c molasses
2 eggs
4 cup flour
4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp salt

Cream the shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses.

Mix well.

Sift spices, flour, baking soda and salt.

Mix dry ingredients into molasses mixture. Mix well to form dough.

Use cookie scoop or roll dough into 1 inch balls.

Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.

Almost forgot, roll balls in sugar!

Now put em on the tray!

He did it all himself!

Ready to bake!

Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes.

So yummy!

These were the perfect sweetness.
If you have never made molasses cookies, you have got to make these!

And they are so easy to make that my 4 year old was able to do it all himself!
Well, a little help from mom with measuring ;).

Let me know if you give these a try and what you think!
